- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans; - Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to create interactive and meaningful learning experiences; - Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth; - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that values diversity and promotes mutual respect; - Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cultural elements into the curriculum and promote cross-cultural understanding; - Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and cultural competency; - Engage with parents and the community to foster partnerships and support students' holistic development. - Educational background in Education, History, Geography, or a related field, providing the necessary knowledge and expertise to effectively teach Geography and History; - Teaching certification/license; - Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience, preferably in an international or cross-cultural setting; - Proficiency in English; - Proficiency in working with children; - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; - Cultural sensitivity and openness to diverse perspectives; - Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a multicultural environment.
