Maintenance Technician

- Carry out planned maintenance of elevators, escalators and travelators; - Handle callouts and service repairs on schedule, within the required response time and to quality standards; - Diagnose and fix technical faults in equipment; - Inspect and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic components of elevators and other lifting equipment, and replace faulty spare parts; - Follow maintenance instructions and safety rules at all times, keeping end users and the site safe during work; - Record completed service work and callouts in the ERP system and keep their status up to date; - Prepare service reports, defect reports and work completion acts and submit them to management; - Report detected faults, additional repair needs and technical risks to management; - Take part in on-call duty, including several night shifts per month, and respond on site to callouts received during that time; - Keep service tools, measuring instruments and the company van safe, maintained and in good condition; - Communicate and coordinate effectively with customers and team members. Requirements - Knowledge of how electrical and mechanical systems work; - Ability to identify and fix technical faults; - Ability to read technical diagrams and equipment documentation; - Correct use of hand tools and measuring instruments; - Strict compliance with safety rules and work procedures; - Ability to work in a team and complete tasks on time; - Category B and C driving licence. Preferred qualifications - Vocational or higher education in a technical or engineering field; - Work experience in the elevator, electrical or construction sector;
