IT Business Analyst

Responsibilities - Gather, analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements. - Translate business processes into system specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and testable scenarios. - Design and document employee activity tracking, time allocation, managerial approval, and exception-handling workflows. - Define business rules for weekly reporting, configurable working hours, approval hierarchies, delegation, and access permissions. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to maintain organizational structures, activity catalogs, project catalogs, and employee parameters. - Prepare process diagrams, workflow descriptions, API-related specifications, and data mapping documentation. - Maintain requirements and decisions in Jira and Confluence. - Support QA activities, user acceptance testing, pilot operations, and change management. - Ensure consistency between business requirements and implemented functionality. Required Qualifications - At least 3 years of experience in business or systems analysis for enterprise software projects. - Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, BPMN, UML, and process modeling. - Ability to write precise functional specifications and unambiguous acceptance criteria. - Understanding of relational databases, SQL, REST APIs, and system integration concepts. - Experience with workflow systems, approval processes, and role-based access models. - Practical experience with Jira and Confluence. - Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. - Fluent Azerbaijani and Russian. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with HR management, workforce management, time tracking, or project accounting systems. - Familiarity with Active Directory, organizational hierarchies, and enterprise identity management. - Experience working with developers and testers in short delivery cycles. - Understanding of BI reporting requirements and data quality principles.
